This dramatic abstract piece is a triptych painting, meaning it's composed of three vertical panels displayed together as a single artwork.

The painting is dominated by an incredibly heavy surface texture, created using thick layers of paint, or impasto. This gives the entire work a rugged, almost three-dimensional quality. The upper section is highly textural and features shimmering metallic gold mixed with dark reddish-brown undertones, giving it an ancient, oxidized, or rich appearance.

The lower two-thirds of this striking triptych painting transition dramatically into an intense, saturated crimson or fire-engine red. A thin band of deep burgundy acts as a buffer between the gold and red, adding depth.
