The artwork is designed as a continuous triptych painting, with the three panels forming a unified composition that emphasizes texture and contrast. The technique is characterized by extremely heavy impasto, where the paint is thickly applied and aggressively manipulated to create a deeply furrowed, almost geological surface across the entire canvas. This rugged texture enhances the interplay of light on the metallic pigments.

The composition features two primary horizontal color fields, divided by the central figure:

Upper Register (Sky/Light): Dominated by luminous metallic silver and muted grays. The texture in the central panel is particularly intense, creating a dazzling, reflective effect that suggests brilliant, cold light or a stormy sky.

Lower Register Ground: A deep, saturated cobalt or sapphire blue dominates the lower third.
